We were planting Pumpkin Big Max, Kentucky Wonder Pole Bean, and Dakota Black Popcorn. They were named THE THREE SISTERS.We planted them by building a little hill. Then we planted the beans in the top of the hill and the pumpkin beans were planted at the side of the hill.
Other groups were doing something else. We were putting mulch around the plants in the Scentennial Nature Path. The mulch had to go around the plant looking like a doughnut, because if you put the mulch too close to the stem then it will rot.
